The first band was under 100 photos, the second was just over 200, the rest was the third band and crowd.

My confidence developed over the night, I was worried that I’d look stupid or annoy people. (Even though I don’t use flash.) Also, considering it was the first time using that lens I spent the first hour learning.

The first band were AMAZING and I wish I had more of them.

Goal for next time:

Don’t worry so much and try to be confident from the start!

Is there anything more nerve-wrecking then the bands you shot adding you on facebook. Then messaging you keen the see the final images?

Nope.

WHAT IF THEY’RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH?!

FIRST TIME USING THAT LENS. SECOND TIME USING THAT CAMERA AT A GIG!

I am not Adam Elmakias, unfortunately.

I’m going to have a tea and stop worrying

Tried out my new 35mm 1.8 lens at a gig last night. Some photos look great on camera but I’ve taken 718 images ALL in RAW format, and that’s going to be hell getting onto my laptop.

I think I’m in need of a mac or a really good desktop computer!

Opportunity!

letusnotforget:

My mum is a theater nurse, and she just called me up informing me that one of the surgeons is writing a book. He had asked my mum if I would be interested in going into theaters to take photos during operations for him. All I need to do is get a business card which I can do tomorrow, and give him my number and a price. I was willing to do it for free, but why turn down the offer.

EXCITEMENT!

UPDATE: The surgeon and I have been in contact over the last week. The publishers are keen to publish his book, and he’s keen to have me take the images for it. I am going to the hospital to meet with him next week and get to know the theatres. I already have my own set of scrubs! :D
